MPOWER’s Global Education Plan LinkedIn Essay Contest 2026/27

Entering the contest is a three step process. All three steps must be completed for your entry to be valid.

Step 1 – Register
Visit the contest page at mpowerfinancing.com/contest and complete the registration form. Upon registration you will receive your personalised entry kit on WhatsApp, including your MPOWER link that must appear in your article.

Step 2 – Write and Publish
Write your article on LinkedIn and publish it publicly.

Step 3 – Submit
Once your article is live on LinkedIn, reply to your MPOWER WhatsApp entry kit message with your LinkedIn article URL. Your entry is not confirmed until this step is complete.

• Be written in English
• Include the below text link and hashtag within the first 3 paragraphs, using the following standard language:
   “MPOWER Financing offers scholarships and loans specifically designed for international students – explore your options here: mpowerfinancing.com/scholarships #MyGlobalEduPlan2026″
• Mention your current field of study or work, and what you are planning to pursue abroad
• Be an original article written for this contest – previously published articles are not eligible

This is a 100% engagement-driven contest – your audience decides.

• Comments – highest value – 50%
• Reshares – high value – 30%
• Likes and views – baseline value – 20%

The article with the highest engagement score by May 15, 11:59 PM IST wins.

• The contest is open from April 1, 2026 to May 15, 2026. Entries submitted outside this window will not be considered
• Each participant may submit only one article. Multiple entries from the same participant will result in disqualification
• The decision of MPOWER Financing is final in all matters relating to this contest
• MPOWER reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the contest at any time
• This contest is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by LinkedIn

The contest is open to:

• Students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program, at the time of entry
• Working professionals within 5 years of graduation, who are actively planning to pursue higher education abroad

Participants must be based in India at the time of entry.

These are guidelines, not rules – they are intended to help you write the best possible article.

• Recommended length: 1,200 to 1,500 words. This length tends to perform best on LinkedIn and gives you enough space to tell a meaningful story
• Images and videos: You are encouraged to include original images, infographics, or embedded videos to enrich your article. LinkedIn supports all of these natively
• AI tools: AI writing tools are permitted. However, articles must reflect your own personal experience, voice and perspective. Articles that read as entirely AI-generated with no genuine personal story are unlikely to resonate with readers – and since judging is based on engagement, this will directly affect your score
• Third party content: You are responsible for ensuring any third party content you reference or embed complies with the original creator’s terms. MPOWER is not liable for third party content included in participant articles

Entries will be disqualified if any of the following apply:

1. The personalised MPOWER CTA link is not present within the first 3 paragraphs of the article
   The article is not written in English
2. The article is removed, set to private, or edited to remove the MPOWER link or hashtag before May 25, 2026
3. The LinkedIn profile cannot be verified as genuine – profiles must have a minimum of 5 connections from the same educational institution or workplace as stated at registration
4. The participant does not meet the eligibility criteria

MPOWER reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates the spirit of the contest, including entries that appear to have artificially inflated engagement through inauthentic means.

MPOWER reserves the right to verify the identity of any winner before releasing their prize. Winners may be asked to provide proof of enrollment or employment, proof of age, and government-issued photo ID. Failure to provide verification within 7 days of being contacted will result in forfeiture of the prize, which will be awarded to the next eligible participant.

By entering the contest, participants grant MPOWER Financing the right to share, reshare, and reference their article across MPOWER’s owned channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and mpowerfinancing.com, with full credit to the author. Participants retain ownership of their original content.
