I’m originally from Missouri and currently call the sunshine state home, but I’ve visited or lived in nearly 20 countries. My passion for travel began early, and my interest in cross-cultural exchange and international education deepened during my time studying abroad in Wales.
I’m passionate about all things international education, especially those with a focus on content and SEO, and have presented on these topics at 20+ international education conferences, including many NAFSA regional events. Before joining the MPOWER team in 2022, I taught ESL in China, then spent 11 years at Envisage International, including as the Director of InternationalStudent.com – a site with more than 20,000 pages of content all devoted to providing students the information they need for their journey abroad.

At MPOWER Financing I lead our content and SEO team. From ideation to roadmapping – there’s always a next big project to be born in the world of content; and that’s where I come in. Other pieces of the content strategy and development puzzle that make my heart pound include branding and process flows. In my role I absolutely love seeing the content that we’ve poured our hearts into reach students from around the world and have a positive impact on their lives.
