Every single intern is leading their own project during the summer, and making their amazing goals come true. Read on to learn more about our outstanding interns!<\/span><\/p>\n 000111 Fernando Barbosa<\/b>, an M.B.A. candidate at Georgetown University. His main project at MPOWER is building <\/span>the refinance product. If you ask Fernando what his purpose and career goals are, his answer will be \u201cmaking finance a means for creating more equal opportunities.\u201d Though it is never easy for an international student to have success in the U.S., Fernando thinks taking care of yourself and visualizing long-term plans can help you learn and succeed in this diverse environment<\/span>.<\/p>\n 666777888999000111222333 Hsiang-Yu Su<\/b>,<\/span> a recent Master of Advertising graduate from the University of Illinois <\/span>at Urbana-Champaign. She is thrilled by the power of content marketing and is working on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain MPOWER customers. But why MPOWER? Su said, \u201cI love how MPOWER stays true to their core values and creates a culture that employees and customers are proud to associate with \u2013 it really makes an impression!\u201d Su believes that everyone deserves a life-changing experience and that you mustn’t flinch from any difficulties!<\/span><\/p>\n 888999000111222333444555<\/p>\n Jenny Lee<\/b>, <\/span>originally from Seoul, South Korea, a rising third-year law student pursuing a J.D. at the George Washington University Law School. The project Jenny is working on includes reviewing MPOWER\u2019s policies, identifying potential needs in MPOWER\u2019s compliance program, and supporting ongoing due diligence process. Jenny\u2019s top tip for any international students is, \u201cIf there is a will, there is a way.\u201d She believes good opportunities will come to you if you are passionate and hard working in your field.<\/span><\/p>\n 666777888999 Michelle Uchitel<\/b>, <\/span>currently a student at Virginia Tech pursuing dual B.S. degrees in Business Information Technology and Environmental Informatics. Michelle is an Analytics intern at MPOWER, working with data, and especially using data to model scenarios and inform decision-making processes. She has a great philosophy: \u201cI personally believe in doing one\u2019s part to make the world a better place and that together our small improvements can translate to large, positive impact.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text]888[\/et_pb_text]999000[\/et_pb_column]111 Saeed <\/b>Razavi<\/b>, a D.C.-Metro Area native, a student pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at the University of Virginia<\/span>. He is an Engineering intern, working on optimizing the workflow and aiding the implementation of new technologies at MPOWER. He\u2019s using his experience as a business development executive in India as well as his education to help MPOWER as a marketing strategy intern.. His word of advice for Indian students is, \u201cA college degree represents the conclusion of a journey and the start of a new adventure, rather than being a tick mark.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 444555666777 Yogesh <\/b>Sawant<\/b>, <\/span>currently pursuing his M.S. in Computer Science at the State University of New York at Buffalo.\u00a0 As an international student<\/span>, he was impressed by MPOWER\u2019s mission to help people from around the world get an education<\/span>. Yogesh was happy to join MPOWER because \u201cMPOWER is a data-driven company, and the way MPOWER manages their big data allows me to immerse myself in the magical world of data. He is interning on the Operations team this summer.
